I test and write about AI in CAD: models and agents that design, CAD programs with AI built in, MCP servers and the tooling around them. Are you building something in that space? Send me a link and I will take a serious look at it.
What I look at
Models and agents that do CAD work: generating geometry, writing parametric scripts, making drawings or checking a design. MCP servers and integrations that connect a model to CAD software. CAD programs that build AI in, and the benchmarks that measure how well any of it actually performs. The bar is the same everywhere: does it hold up on real parts, or only on a friendly demo?
What you get
- I install and run it myself and try it on real parts, not on a demo walkthrough.
- An honest review on vibecad.nl, including the things that do not work yet.
- If you want, you get the draft before it goes live.
What I cannot promise is coverage. I write about a tool when I think it is worth a reader’s time, and I decide when that is.
What I need from you
- A link: the repository, a download page, a demo or a paper
- Two lines about what it is and who it is for
- Where it stands: prototype, beta or released
- What it runs on: which model, your own or someone else’s, and whether it runs locally or only in the cloud
- If you have one: a part or a task that shows what it can do
- Anything you would rather not see published — tell me upfront
How it works
This is not a paid placement and there is no fee for a review. My verdict stays mine: if something is not good enough yet, I say so and explain why. And if I cannot test it properly — because it is closed off, not installable, or simply not my area — I will tell you that instead of writing something thin.
Send your link to info@vibecad.nl. I read every message and I reply either way.
